it's like a baby that i didn't have 9 months to prepare for

Enrique and I were exchanging emails this morning. Here are the exact emails we exchanged:

Enrique: Wow, that's terrible. BTW, I need to buy a gun for killing the raccoon. Make me crazy.
And also, we can have wings!

As you may or may not gather from E's email to me, there was a raccoon outside last night and it woke us up around 4am. I told Enrique to just ignore it and he asked me if he could go outside and drag it by its legs to the backyard (and away from the garbage). He was serious.
The wings he is referring to are chicken wings. Totally unrelated, he just wants to eat him.

In keeping with the spirit of "never a dull moment", we got a dog. Wedding, scooter, dog... seriously, what next?
My aunt said that the dog is probably a result of me not buying E an ipad. That may be true. Tahn said that enrique always finds a way to get what he wants. so true.

anyway her name is sissy lou, but that is lame, so we are either going with lulu or lima. she is from the pspca and was found tied up to a tree in northeast phila. she was in the shelter for a long time and she is a cutie.

keep her!! she looks so awesome!! what's the approximate age and other stats? Is she housebroken at all?
did e just show up at home with her? I need more of a story, please!

also, I am pretty sure John would be in full support of Enrique killing the raccoon. We have a million racs and skunks living in and around our apartment building, in thanks to the hoarder lady in our building, i'm sure

She is super cute! I can't wait to come see her.

Also, my parents brought me a have-a-heart trap for a squirrel that has been driving me crazy- you guys could borrow that, but the only problem is that once you catch something you have to do something with it...scary.

did he get the dog to get rid of the raccoon? our neighbors have racoon problems, not us. i am sure wilco is the difference. of course, our neighbors have a wilco problem, but that's another story. that dog is really cute. your name alternatives are much better than sissy. we never called wilco by her original name. i think she is most thankful. now, on to more important things: rabies and bats in peru! can i get immunised too?

@ kristen, well she is still here.
@ michelle- no way that I can deal with a raccoon in a cage that i trapped. super scary.
@ tahn- no on the raccoon to dog relationship (at least i don't think so.) enrique supposedly loves dogs, and he met this dog and couldn't resist.

Oh, I meant to tell you that it is actually good to change a dog's name when you get it (if you don't know the previous owners) regardless of how lame or not, because you don't know if the dog has negative associations with that name or anything. So good job on changing the name! did you pick one yet?
